Alessandra, seem straight out of the pages of some underground comix, with which they share the same irony to the limit of sarcasm and the playful approach with contemporary reality. Nonconformist, libertarian, post-modern: Mariscal designs the script of a story from a teenage perspective, where experience always comes before the essence. Desire for roundness, overlapping and loving intertwining of bodies and volumes, disconnect objects from the chronological flow of time by placing them outside, in a world that is necessarily ours too.
