Vitra TABOURET 307
At the beginning of 1950 Jean Prouvé designed tabourets which he gave different numbers.
The seat has the shape of a tractor saddle without holes. This reminds of the chairs in the auditorium of Aix-Marseille, which Jean Prouvé designed around the same time.
The ergonomic seat of the Tabouret N°307 was orignial made from die-cut aluminium sheets, while the version produced by Vitra consist of solid oak wood.
The interplay between solid wooden seats and the elegant tubular steel legs create a fascinating contrast.
Tabouret N°307 is available in two versions:
with a seat in light oak, base in Prouvé Blanc Colombe.
With a seat in dark oak, base in deepblack
